Urban League of Rochester offers several programs to improve the quality of life of our senior citizens and vulnerable families with children.

Program 1


Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly (EISEP) Program: Helps the elderly remain in their own homes by providing appropriate and cost-effective non-medical support services.   For more information, please contact Henrene Brown at 585.325.6530 ext. 4203 or hbrown@ulr.org

Family Consultant Program: Provides intensive family counseling, crisis intervention, parenting skills training and assistance in accessing and utilizing community resources for families at risk of losing their children to foster care.  For more information, contact Jacqueline Walton at 585-325-6530 ext. 3090 or jwalton@ulr.org.

Parenting Education Classes: A series of eight 90-minute classes are held on a weekly basis. Participants gain knowledge of positive parenting practices, child development and age-appropriate expectations for their children.
