In-School Youth Programs

The Afterschool Academy helps youth in grades 7 to 10 prepare for success in college and careers.

The Black Scholars Program provides recognition, assistance and incentives to students who achieve and maintain a "B" or better average throughout high school. 

The Youth Intervention Program (YIP) provides intensive school-based mentoring for at-risk students at Rochester's Thomas Jefferson and Charlotte High Schools.

The Leadership Academy at Charlotte High School provides academic support, behavioral monitoring, cultural enrichment and social development training to help 7th graders make a successful transition to high school.



Out-of-School Youth Programs

The SAFE program — a GED and career readiness program for youth ages 17 to 21.

YouthBuild provides young people ages 18 to 24 with GED classes and both classroom and hands-on construction training.
