A GED program for youth ages 17 to 21.
In addition to GED classes, SAFE provides:
SAFE participants boost their computer skills and complete the Internet-based WorkKeys training system in our computer lab. WorkKeys tests and strengthens nine skill areas that are necessary for success in the workplace or postsecondary education — Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, Applied Technology, Teamwork, Business Writing, Listening, Writing, and Observation.
Class sizes in SAFE are small, so our students can receive personalized attention and instruction. SAFE's hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM and on Friday from 9 AM to noon. All classes are held at the Urban League of Rochester's main office, 265 N. Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14605.
