Urban League GuildThe Urban League Guild is the volunteer auxiliary that develops and executes fundraising programs and volunteer efforts on behalf of the agency.

The Guild's major activities include:

  • The Distinguished Male Cooks Event, a major fundraiser for Urban League programs held each June.
  • Neighbors Helping Neighbors, which responds to the economic needs of the Rochester community through such activities as Holiday Food Baskets and the annual Clothesline Give-Away.
  • Volunteering with both youth and senior citizens in the community.

Membership in the Guild is open to anyone regardless of race, sex, religion, age or economic status. Our annual membership fee is $35. Membership recruitment and registration is open from July 1st thru October 31st. Guild meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Urban League of Rochester's main office, 265 N. Clinton Avenue.
