Since the Urban League of Rochester was founded in 1965, we have worked to address the challenges faced by African Americans, Latinos, the poor and other disadvantaged populations in our community. Now, 43 years later, we are one of the most effective Urban League affiliates in the United States, with a staff of nearly 100 and over 30 programs that served 5,800 individuals in the past year. All of this is only possible because of the vision, labor and enduring faith of our staff, volunteers, members and friends in the community.
