We’re celebrating all 9th-11th grade students within our nine-county region on the path to becoming Black Scholars. There will be food, fun and community partners in attendance to keep them motivated and looking ahead to future academic success!

It’s the long-awaited return of our ever-popular, food-tasting event. We'll offer food samplings from dozens of chefs across our area. We’ll welcome special guest chefs and have plenty of food and drink to enjoy!

HOMECOMING - 45TH ANNUAL SALUTE TO BLACK SCHOLARS CEREMONY | Monday, June 3 | RIT’s Gordon Field House

Celebrating 45 years of academic achievements this year, we'll welcome our latest class of Black Scholars to the Urban League family. We invite families of students, alumni and the Rochester community, as we recognize these young scholars, award a whole lot of scholarship money and celebrate them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

This year's theme: Honoring From Whence We Came. We'll gather again with a whole slate of engaging speakers and empowerment exercises to move our community forward... together. Because, as we know, we cannot, and must not, do this work alone.

What a milestone... 60 years! We'll be celebrating six decades of collective community impact next year and invite the Rochester community to share in that love on Valentine's Day 2025.
