Early Recognition Virtual Ceremony
Our Early Recognition Virtual Ceremony celebrates the academic achievement of high school students of African descent in the Greater Rochester Area.
The ceremony recognizes and encourages students to continue to prosper academically to be inducted in the Urban League of Rochester’s Black Scholars Honor Society. This distinction provides honorees with helpful programming (college and career readiness) and scholarship opportunities in their senior year through our scholarship networks. The program attracts over 1,300 student honorees and their families.
