2021 Free Thanksgiving food baskets event November 23, 2021

The Urban League of Rochester will be hosting a free Thanksgiving event in collaboration with Greater Harvest Church and Monroe County that will be open to the general public this coming Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 11 am to 2 pm at our headquarters at 265 N. Clinton Ave.

Thanksgiving Food Baskets

We will be giving away free Thanksgiving food baskets through the generosity of Greater Harvest Church on a first come, first served basis (limit 1 per household). The first 150 families will be guaranteed a turkey, courtesy of Monroe County.

Monroe County Health Department staff will be on site to provide face masks, health information, and COVID-19 vaccines. Individuals receiving a COVID-19 vaccine on site will also be eligible to receive a free turkey gift card ($25 value) while supplies last.

Urban League staff will be available to share information on our programs and services with the community, as well.
